What is the world's largest airport?

Riyadh Airport in Saudi Arabia. If you think Chicago's O'Hare is bad - this one covers 87 square miles of the Arabian Desert.

Argh. Nearly a whole week without a post. How lazy. No excuse either, since it was March Break and all I did was fool around on the internet all day, for the whole week. Here's a brief summary of what happened: new shoes, saw LOTR for the second time, cleaned my closet. Exciting, don't you think?

I am planning to buy a collapsible camping chair from Canadian Tire; when it starts to get really sunny and warm, I am going to take it to school and lounge outside at lunch. It will be excellent.

Rob has a cool "caption contest"-type thing going. Check it out!
Silverorange has redesigned their site! It's ultra-hip.
Two words: Bob Newhart.

Aura + Labworks = excellent techno2

CityDesk is the best piece of web publishing software that I have ever used. Jevon was quite right, you could really blog with it. Incredibly easy to use, excellent documentation, and ability to customize make this a winner. Check it out!

webwasher.com not only offer some great products like WebWasher, but their website is really cool.

The Twang Sirens. Unbelieveable surf music. Have a listen!

I just relived the old days of NES by playing a Super Mario Bros. 3 ROM. It was great.

My 20 seconds of fame

I just noticed my blog (yes, this one) was on Blogger's "10 most recently updated blogs" list, under 8:37 AM. It's no "Blogs of Note," but hey, it's still pretty cool! So, anyone who got here via Blogger, welcome!

Fastmail is perhaps the greatest free email service in existence. While Hotmail has become suffocated with ads and popups, Fastmail has a clean, easy interface with 0 graphics. And it's quite friendly; it greets you with the time and previous access information when you log in:
Welcome to FastMail Ryan Hillier. It's just after five past midday.
Your last successful login was at Tue, 19 Mar 2002 12:05 PM

Isn't that nice? Much better than the cold shoulder that Hotmail gives you. So what are you waiting for? Go sign up!

I've been experimenting with Quickpost, a feature packaged with Coffeecup Software's HTML Editor. It's good for quick & dirty posting, with minimal functionality. A good bit of software for people who have websites and want to post little news updates. I also downloaded Fog Creek's CityDesk software, which Jevon mentioned on his site. Haven't installed it yet; I'll give it a spin today.

Why is human blood blue in the body and red when it comes out?

Blood is always red – even blood that is oxygen-deprived and heading back towards the lungs to refuel. Veins close to the skin show through as purple-blue or or grayish because that is their color.

Most of yesterday was spent playing Perfect Dark, watching Body Count (terrible film) and A.I. (excellent film), and listening to techno.

This week's agenda: Party hard.
