Argh. Nearly a whole week without a post. How lazy. No excuse either, since it was March Break and all I did was fool around on the internet all day, for the whole week. Here's a brief summary of what happened: new shoes, saw LOTR for the second time, cleaned my closet. Exciting, don't you think?

I am planning to buy a collapsible camping chair from Canadian Tire; when it starts to get really sunny and warm, I am going to take it to school and lounge outside at lunch. It will be excellent.

I've been experimenting with Quickpost, a feature packaged with Coffeecup Software's HTML Editor. It's good for quick & dirty posting, with minimal functionality. A good bit of software for people who have websites and want to post little news updates. I also downloaded Fog Creek's CityDesk software, which Jevon mentioned on his site. Haven't installed it yet; I'll give it a spin today.

Why is human blood blue in the body and red when it comes out?

Blood is always red – even blood that is oxygen-deprived and heading back towards the lungs to refuel. Veins close to the skin show through as purple-blue or or grayish because that is their color.

Most of yesterday was spent playing Perfect Dark, watching Body Count (terrible film) and A.I. (excellent film), and listening to techno.

I haven't slept since 8:00 yesterday morning. If I stay awake for another 3 hours, I'll have been awake for a whole day. I know I really should go to bed, but my mind has me convinced that I have important things to do online, like integrate the YACCS commenting system on this blog. I have no idea why I am doing it, but I'd like to know that if people want to make something known about my thoughts, they can do so.

I made an MSN Community a couple of hours ago. That's how tired I am. My brain thinks that making a dumb MSN Community is important. Gah.

Just got home from the rock show in East Royalty. Wow. Uprising was incredible; clearly the highlight of the show. Later Daze played a strong set as well, ending with a big group sing-along to some song called 'Freakish'. I've never heard it before, but it was a great ender. Didn't see much after that; a bunch of us freaked out and split to DQ, where we mixed strange vinegar concotions until closing time.

It was drizzly-raining for the greater part of the evening, and when we left DQ the there was a cold snap which produced a thin layer of super-slippery ice on everything. Needless to say driving was an interesting experience.

March Break has begun! A day trip to New Brunswick has been tentatively scheduled. We'll see how that works out.

If someone could manufacture new car smell they would be hailed as a genius. But of course maybe people would get addicted to the bottled stuff and OD on 'car'. That would be pretty screwed up, but cool. That person would be laughed at because they OD'd on something that people smell everyday. New car smell junkies would be the bane of society, hanging out at car dealerships, and trying to get a whiff of that sweet car smell. They might go insane and attack the dealerships and make the salesmen hostages, then there would be a huge 'New Car Smell Junkies Hostage Situation', and it would end like Waco. Then they would have to set up New Car Smell Junkie Rehab Centers. Man, that would suck.

Well, the last episode of Survivor featured the dumbest decision ever, with Hunter being voted off. It's apparent that the rest of the team didn't realize that he was the only thing keeping them alive.

Jeff Buckley is amazing.

Big show tomorrow night. Rockers include Uprising, Later Daze, and Tremulous. Should be a good time.

Well today we finally broke into the Purple Frownies Club and successfully spray-painted red smileys all over their equipment. Now maybe they'll think twice the next time they try to turn their Anger Ray on us, heh heh!
